Co-founder & Co-CEO

With 15+ years in payments, Pieter co-founded Adyen in 2006 to transform the industry. He previously served as CCO at Bibit and studied Economics at the University of Amsterdam.

Ingo Uytdehaage

Co-CEO

Ingo joined as CFO in 2011 and played a key role in Adyen’s global growth. He holds degrees in accounting and finance from Maastricht University.

Roelant Prins

CCO

Responsible for all commercial activities, Roelant has deep experience in sales and international business development. He holds an Economics degree from Erasmus University.

Mariëtte Swart

CRCO

Joined as General Counsel and now leads Risk & Compliance. Mariëtte studied Regulated Markets and Corporate Law at Utrecht University.

Brooke Nayden

CHRO

Brooke brings extensive HR leadership from Atlassian and tech companies, driving Adyen’s global expansion. She studied History & Literature at Claremont McKenna College.

Ethan Tandowsky

CFO

Ethan joined Adyen’s finance team in 2017 and now leads as CFO. He studied Business Economics at UC Santa Barbara and is a licensed CPA.

Tom Adams

CTO

Tom previously led engineering at Cash App and has 25+ years in fintech leadership. He holds dual degrees in Computer Science and Physical Mathematics.
